There have been great improvements since blender 3.0 was released.
The most interesting news, from my point of view, is the story pencil addon. If you like to animate or you like to make movies this tool might be your right choice. Blender has improved a lot the grease pencil since it was introduced. Now you have even better tools to make storyboards and animate them.
Animated storyboards are just a way to work and set things up before you go into the wild jungle to make your movie but this is not all. I think that this tool can actually work well for short animated movies, YouTubers use to do this kind of shorts a lot, and it’s good enough to share your story with the public. I definitely give it a try myself, this might be the right time I animate some of my old stories…
Blender 3.4 has improved his cycles adding path guiding, wich will result in better renderings and less noise in the final result. The lights and shadows will be more realistic and better calculated.
There are a lot of new nodes in the geometry nodes and in the shader nodes.
They added auto masking in sculpting, this new feature definitely will improve the sculpting life.
